23 ^zAnd he went throughout all Galilee, ^ateaching in their synagogues and ^bproclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. 24 So his ^cfame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having ^dseizures, and paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.

16 That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. 17 This was ^uto fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: ^v“He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

1 ^uAnd he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them ^vauthority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.

5 ^jThese twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere ^kamong the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans, 6 but go rather to the ^llost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And ^mproclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is ⁿat hand.’¹ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers,² cast out demons. You received ^owithout paying; give ^pwithout pay.
