24 So his ^cfame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having ^dseizures, and paralytics, and he healed them.

The Death of John the Baptist

1 ^uAt that time Herod the tetrarch heard about the fame of Jesus,

37 And ^treports about him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

15 ^mBut now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities.

17 And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.
