3 if it is the ^zanointed priest who sins, thus bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer ^afor the sin that he has committed a bull from the herd ^bwithout blemish to the Lord for a ^csin offering.

1 For ^uevery high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices ^vfor sins. 2 He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, ^wsince he himself is beset with ^xweakness. 3 Because of this he is obligated to offer sacrifice ^yfor his own sins just as he does for those of the people.

27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first ^afor his own sins and then for those of the people, since ^bhe did this ^conce for all when he offered up himself.

7 but into the second only the high priest goes, and he but ⁱonce a year, and not without taking blood, which he offers ^jfor himself and for the unintentional sins of the people.
