10 ^zAaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year. With the blood of the sin offering of atonement he shall make atonement for it once in the year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.”

34 And this shall be a statute forever for you, that atonement may be made for the people of Israel ^yonce in the year because of all their sins.” And Aaron¹ did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All

1 For since the law has but a ^lshadow of the ^mgood things to come instead of the true form of these realities, ⁿit can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.

3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.
