16 And this was why the Jews were npersecuting Jesus, obecause he was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
Jesus Is Equal with God
18 This was why the Jews were pseeking all the more qto kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, rmaking himself sequal with God.
41 So hthe Jews igrumbled about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”
Jesus at the Feast of Booths
1 After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would mnot go about in Judea, because the Jews1 were nseeking to kill him.
59 wSo xthey picked up stones to throw at him, ybut Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
22 (His parents said these things because they qfeared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone should confess Jesus1 to be Christ, he was to be rput out of the synagogue.
