8 gHe will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord God will hwipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
for the Lord has spoken.
26 wThe last enemy to be destroyed is death.
54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:
b“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
10 and which now has been zmanifested through the aappearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished bdeath and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
14 pThen Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
