54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

26 ^wThe last enemy to be destroyed is death.

10 and which now has been ^zmanifested through the ^aappearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished ^bdeath and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

14 ^pThen Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

4 He will ^xwipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
