37 And because he nloved your fathers and chose their offspring after them1 and brought you out of Egypt owith his own presence, by his great power,
8 And your servant is in the midst of your people whom you have ochosen, a great people, ptoo many to be numbered or counted for multitude.
8 But you, Israel, hmy servant,
Jacob, whom I have ichosen,
the offspring of Abraham, jmy friend;
9 you whom I took from the ends of the earth,
and called from its farthest corners,
saying to you, “You are kmy servant,
I have chosen you and not cast you off”;
24 “Have you not observed that these people are saying, ‘The Lord has rejected the two clans that he chose’? Thus they have despised my people so that they are no longer a nation in their sight.
5 and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: On the day when I cchose Israel, dI swore1 to the offspring of the house of Jacob, making myself known to them in the land of Egypt; I swore to them, saying, I am the Lord your God.
