1  ^d“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak,

and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

2  ^gHear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth;

for the Lord has spoken:

^h“Children¹ have I reared and brought up,

but they have rebelled against me.

1  ^hDraw near, O nations, to hear,

and give attention, O peoples!

ⁱLet the earth hear, and all that fills it;

the world, and all that comes from it.

19  Hear, O earth; behold, I am bringing disaster upon this people,

the fruit of their devices,

because they have not paid attention to my words;

and as for my law, they have rejected it.
