14 ^fI will be to him a ^gfather, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, I will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men,

13 ^pI will be to him a ^qfather, and he shall be to me a son. I will not take my steadfast love from him, ^ras I took it from him who was before you,

16 Simon Peter replied, ^d“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

63 But Jesus remained ^tsilent. And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, ^utell us ^vif you are the Christ, the Son of God.”

John the Baptist Prepares the Way

1 ^aThe beginning of the gospel of Jesus ^bChrist, the ^cSon of God.¹

61 But he remained ^csilent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, ^d“Are you ^ethe Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

41 And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would ^vnot allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the ^wChrist.

27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the ^bSon of God, who is coming into the world.”

31 but these are written ⁿso that you may believe that ^oJesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that ^pby believing you may have life in his name.

3 concerning his Son, who was ^gdescended from David¹ according to the flesh

5 For to which of the angels did God ever say,

Or again,

8 But of the Son he says,

6 but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a ^fson. And ^gwe are his house, ^hif indeed we ⁱhold fast our ^jconfidence and our ^kboasting in our ^lhope.¹

3 ^dGrace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father’s Son, in truth and love.
