16 Great indeed, we qconfess, is the mystery of godliness:
He1 was rmanifested sin the flesh,
seen by uangels,
vproclaimed among the nations,
believed on in the world,
wtaken up in glory.
20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was kmade manifest in the last times for the sake of you
2 the dlife was made emanifest, and we have seen it, and ftestify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was gwith the Father and was made manifest to us—
5 You know that he appeared in order to mtake away sins, and nin him there is no sin.
8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to sdestroy the works of the devil.
