14 And the Word ^xbecame flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his ^yglory, glory as of the only ^zSon¹ from the Father, full of ^agrace and truth.

3 For God has done ^dwhat the law, ^eweakened by the flesh, could not do. ^fBy sending his own Son ^gin the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,¹ he condemned sin in the flesh,

7 but ^gemptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,^{1 h}being born ⁱin the likeness of men.

2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come ^oin the flesh is from God,
