22 Who is the liar but he who denies that ^aJesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will ^babide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the ^cpromise that he made to us¹—eternal life.

14 And we have seen and ^gtestify that the Father has sent his Son to be ^hthe Savior of the world. 15 ⁱWhoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

12 Whoever has the Son ^bhas life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
