56 vWhoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood wabides in me, and I in him.
4 vAbide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, wunless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and xthe branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words yabide in you, zask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
6 whoever says he babides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Children of God
28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have econfidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
6 oNo one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either pseen him or known him.
