1 And I saw a beast rising ^qout of the sea, with ten horns and ^rseven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads.

5 And the beast was given ^aa mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for ^bforty-two months.

6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,¹ that is, those who dwell in heaven.

9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed¹ the name of God who had power over these plagues. They ^adid not repent and give him glory.

11 and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.

21 And great ^uhailstones, about one hundred pounds¹ each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the ^vplague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

3 And he ^bcarried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of ^cblasphemous names, and it had ^dseven heads and ten horns.
