1 The ^abook of the genealogy of Jesus ^bChrist, the ^cson of David, the ^dson of Abraham.

27 And as Jesus passed on from there, ^htwo blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, ⁱSon of David.”

23 And all the people were ^bamazed, and said, ^c“Can this be the ^dSon of David?”

22 And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, ^fSon of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”

30 And behold, there were ^wtwo blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord,¹ have mercy on us, ^xSon of David!” 31 The crowd ^yrebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”

9 And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, ^f“Hosanna to the ^gSon of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant,
