1 And the Lord said to Joshua, ^f“Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, ^gI have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land.

6 And the Lord said to Joshua, ^j“Do not be afraid of them, for tomorrow at this time I will give over all of them, slain, to Israel. You shall ^khamstring their horses and burn their ^lchariots with fire.”
