23 So Joshua took the whole land, laccording to all that the Lord had spoken to Moses. mAnd Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel naccording to their tribal allotments. And the land had rest from war.

43 rThus the Lord gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there.
