19 Jesus answered them, ^z“Destroy this temple, and in three days ^aI will raise it up.” 20 The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple,¹ and will you raise it up in three days?” 21 But he was speaking about ^bthe temple of his body.

26 Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. ^qAlthough the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ^q“Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, ^r“Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered him, ^s“My Lord and my God!”

4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples ⁱdid not know that it was Jesus.
