6 The king of Babylon ^vslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at ^tRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon ^vslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 ^wHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. 8 ^xThe Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the house of the people, ^yand broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
