Jeremiah 31:31–34

31 q“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make ra new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, 32 not like the covenant that I smade with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their thusband, declares the Lord. 33 For uthis is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will vput my law wwithin them, and I will write it on their hearts. And xI will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, y‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will zforgive their iniquity, and aI will bremember their sin no more.”

I will bring them back to this place, and I will make them dwell in safety. 38 And othey shall be my people, and I will be their God. 39 pI will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, qfor their own good and the good of their children after them. 40 I will make with them an reverlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will sput the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. 41 I will trejoice in doing them good, and I will uplant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.
