19 I will give you the ^jkeys of the kingdom of heaven, and ^kwhatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed¹ in heaven.”

31 He who comes ^sfrom above is ^tabove all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and ^uspeaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets his ^vseal to this, that God is ^wtrue. 34 For he whom God has sent ^xutters the words of God, for ^yhe gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father ^zloves the Son and has given ^aall things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

24 I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you ^dbelieve that I am he you will die in your sins.”

21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. ^aAs the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, ^b“Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 ^cIf you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”

43 To him all the prophets ^dbear witness that ^eeveryone who ^fbelieves ^gin him ^hreceives forgiveness of sins ⁱthrough his ^jname.”

15 For we are the ^taroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?
