1 Now ^mthe Lord said¹ to Abram, “Go from your country² and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. 2 ⁿAnd I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 ^oI will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and ^pin you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”³

4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from ^qHaran.

5 ^rAbraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

26 Afterward his brother came out with ^ohis hand holding Esau’s heel, so ^phis name was called Jacob.¹ Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.

9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my ^bsojourning are 130 years. ^cFew and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and ^dthey have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their ^bsojourning.”
