10 how on ⁱthe day that you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, the Lord said to me, ^j‘Gather the people to me, that I may let them hear my words, ^kso that they may learn to fear ^lme all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children so.’

29 ^tOh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, ^uthat it might go well with them and with their descendants¹ forever!

2 that ^ayou may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and ^bthat your days may be long.

6 So you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him.

12 “And now, Israel, ^hwhat does the Lord your God require of you, but ⁱto fear the Lord your God, ^jto walk in all his ways, ^kto love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

4 You shall ^twalk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and ^uhold fast to him.
