15 ^gYou shall remember that you were a slave¹ in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there ^hwith a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

2 And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you ^wthese forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, ^xtesting you ^yto know what was in your heart, ^zwhether you would keep his commandments or not. 3 And he humbled you and ^alet you hunger and ^bfed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that ^cman does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word¹ that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for ^rit is he who gives you power to get wealth, ^sthat he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

15 ^bYou shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.

3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it. ^mSeven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction—for you came out of the land of Egypt ⁿin haste—that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt.

12 ^xYou shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.

18 but ^xyou shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you from there; therefore I command you to do this.
