8 For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me¹ to the nations who plundered you, ^yfor he who touches you touches ^zthe apple of his eye:

6 but ^zwhoever causes one of these ^alittle ones who believe in me to sin,¹ it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
