2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft trose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and uthe sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft.
11 They have ias king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is jAbaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
7 And when they have finished their testimony, wthe beast that rises from xthe bottomless pit ywill make war on them and conquer them and kill them,
8 The beast that you saw pwas, and is not, and qis about to rise from rthe bottomless pit and sgo to destruction. And tthe dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in uthe book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because pit was and is not and is to come.
The Thousand Years
20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, nholding in his hand the key to othe bottomless pit and a great chain.
3 and threw him into othe pit, and shut it and rsealed it over him, so that she might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
31 And they begged him not to command them to depart into ithe abyss.
