12 jThe one who conquers, I will make him ka pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him lthe name of my God, and mthe name of the city of my God, mthe new Jerusalem, nwhich comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own onew name.

saying, yDo not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God zon their foreheads.

They were told wnot to harm xthe grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have ythe seal of God on their foreheads.

The Lamb and the 144,000

14 Then I looked, and behold, on vMount Zion wstood the Lamb, and with him x144,000 who yhad his name and his Father's name written zon their foreheads.

gThey will see his face, and hhis name will be on their foreheads.

Then they shall take some of the blood and put it on the jtwo doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.

16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,1 qto be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, rthe name of the beast or sthe number of its name.

And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone uworships the beast and its image and receives va mark on his forehead or on his hand,

Then I saw tthrones, and useated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw vthe souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those wwho had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. xThey came to life and yreigned with Christ for a thousand years.
