9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his ^jforehead or on his hand,

5 And on her ^gforehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.”

4 Then I saw ^vthrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw ^wthe souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their ^xforeheads or their hands. They came to life and ^yreigned with Christ for a thousand years.
