13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you ^dput to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

19 Now ^bthe works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,

21 envy,¹ drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that ^dthose who do² such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But ^ethe fruit of the Spirit is ^flove, joy, peace, patience, ^gkindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 ^hgentleness, ⁱself-control; ^jagainst such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^khave crucified the flesh with its ^lpassions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, ^mlet us also keep in step with the Spirit.

11 For ^hthe grace of God ⁱhas appeared, bringing salvation ^jfor all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and ^kworldly passions, and ^lto live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in ^mthe present age, 13 ⁿwaiting for our blessed ^ohope, the ^pappearing of the glory of our great ^qGod and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 ^rwho gave himself for us to ^sredeem us from all lawlessness and ^tto purify for himself ^ta people for his own possession who are ^uzealous for good works.
