17 For in it the ^hrighteousness of God is ⁱrevealed from faith for faith,¹ as it is written, ^j“The righteous shall live by faith.”²

3 For, being ignorant of the ^xrighteousness of God, and ^yseeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
