5 For those who live according to the flesh ^lset their minds on ^mthe things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on ⁿthe things of the Spirit.

Heirs with Christ

12 So then, brothers,¹ we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

13 For ^xif you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you ^yput to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

2 I beg of you that ^awhen I am present I may not have to show boldness with such confidence as I count on showing against some who suspect us of ^bwalking according to the flesh.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not ^cwaging war according to the flesh.
