Future Glory

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time nare not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by pvarious trials,

10 And iafter you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, jwho has called you to his keternal glory in Christ, will himself lrestore, mconfirm, strengthen, and establish you.

aFor his anger is but for a moment,

and bhis favor is for a lifetime.1

cWeeping may tarry for the night,

but djoy comes with the morning.

rFor a brief moment I deserted you,

but with great compassion I will gather you.
