17 and if children, then ^eheirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, ^fprovided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

9 By faith ^yhe went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.

7 Likewise, ^uhusbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are ^vheirs with you¹ of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
