28 For ^fwe hold that one is ^gjustified by faith apart from works of the law.

5 And to the one who does not work but ^rbelieves in¹ him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

Peace with God Through Faith

1 Therefore, since we have been ^sjustified by faith, we¹ have ^tpeace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

16 yet we know that ^ja person is not justified¹ by works of the law but ^kthrough ^lfaith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law ^mno one will be justified.
