God’s Righteous Judgment

1 ^bTherefore you have ^cno excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For ^din passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. 2 We know that the ^ejudgment of God rightly falls on ^fthose who practice such things. 3 Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?

4 ^sWho are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master¹ that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
