1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers,¹ by the mercies of God, to ^lpresent your bodies as a ^mliving sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.²

1 Finally, then, brothers,^{1 a}we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that ^bas you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.
