Prologue

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants^{1 a}the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his ^bangel to his servant ^cJohn,

The Great Prostitute and the Beast

1 Then one of the ^wseven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the ^xgreat prostitute ^ywho is seated on many waters,

9 And the angel said¹ to me, ^o“Write this: ^pBlessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, ^q“These are the true words of God.”

The New Jerusalem

9 Then came one of the ⁱseven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the ^jBride, the wife of the ^kLamb.”

The River of Life
