7  Purge me with ^shyssop, and I shall be clean;

wash me, and I shall be ^twhiter than snow.

22  Though you wash yourself ^ewith lye

and use much soap,

the stain of your guilt is still before me,

declares the Lord God.

14  O Jerusalem, ^rwash your heart from evil,

that you may be saved.

How long shall your wicked thoughts

lodge within you?
