1  ^jHave mercy on me,¹ O God,

^kaccording to your steadfast love;

according to your abundant mercy

^lblot out my transgressions.

17  But the ⁱsteadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,

and his righteousness to children’s children,

15  ⁿLook down from heaven and see,

from your holy and beautiful¹ habitation.

Where are your zeal and your might?

The stirring of your inner parts and your compassion

are held back from me.
