5  Lead me ^bin your truth and teach me,

for you are the God of my salvation;

for you I wait all the day long.

22  ^aDo not say, “I will ^brepay evil”;

^cwait for the Lord, ^dand he will deliver you.

9  It will be said on that day,

“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us.

This is the Lord; we have waited for him;

let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

22  Are there any among the false gods of the nations that can bring rain?

Or can the heavens give showers?

Are you not he, O Lord our God?

We set our hope on you,

for you do all these things.

6  “So you, by the help of your God, ^jreturn,

^khold fast to love and justice,

and ^lwait continually for your God.”
