Psalm 124:6

Blessed be the Lord,

who has not given us

as prey to their teeth!

Exodus 15:9–10

The enemy said, yI will pursue, I will overtake,

I zwill divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.

I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.

10  You ablew with your wind; the bsea covered them;

they sank like lead in the mighty waters.

Judges 5:30–31

30  Have they not found and fdivided the spoil?

A womb or two for every man;

spoil of dyed materials for Sisera,

spoil of dyed materials embroidered,

two pieces of dyed work embroidered for the neck as spoil?

31  gSo may all your enemies perish, O Lord!

But your friends be hlike the sun ias he rises in his might.

jAnd the land had rest for forty years.

Judges 5:1

The Song of Deborah and Barak

vThen sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day:

1 Samuel 26:20

20 Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth away from the presence of the Lord, for the king of Israel has come out to seek qa single flea like one who hunts a partridge in the mountains.

Psalm 17:9

from the wicked who do me violence,

my deadly enemies who tsurround me.

Psalm 118:13

13  I was tpushed hard,1 so that I was falling,

but the Lord helped me.

Psalm 145:5–6

On pthe glorious splendor of your majesty,

and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

They shall speak of qthe might of your awesome deeds,

and I will declare your greatness.

Isaiah 10:14–19

14  My hand has found like a nest

the wealth of the peoples;

and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,

so I have gathered all the earth;

and there was none that moved a wing

or opened the mouth or chirped.

15  Shall xthe axe boast over him who hews with it,

or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?

As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,

or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

16  Therefore the Lord God of hosts

will send wasting sickness among his ystout warriors,

and under his glory za burning will be kindled,

like the burning of fire.

17  aThe light of Israel will become a fire,

and bhis Holy One a flame,

and cit will burn and devour

his thorns and briers din one day.

18  The glory of ehis forest and of his ffruitful land

the Lord will destroy, both soul and body,

and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.

19  The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few

that a child can write them down.
