Psalm 110:4

bThe Lord has csworn

and will dnot change his mind,

eYou are fa priest gforever

after the order of hMelchizedek.

Zechariah 6:12–13

12 And say to him, Thus says the Lord of hosts, Behold, the man whose name is cthe Branch: for he shall branch out from his place, and dhe shall build the temple of the Lord. 13 dIt is he who shall build the temple of the Lord eand shall bear royal honor, and shall sit and rule on his throne. And there1 shall be a fpriest on his throne, gand the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Hebrews 6:20

20 where Jesus has gone oas a forerunner on our behalf, phaving become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:5–6

So also Christ rdid not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him,

sYou are my Son,

today I have begotten you;

as he says also in another place,

tYou are a priest forever,

after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:15–17

15 This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is witnessed of him,

cYou are a priest forever,

after the order of Melchizedek.
