15 As for man, his days are like tgrass;
he flourishes like ua flower of the field;
16 for vthe wind passes over it, and wit is gone,
and xits place knows it no more.
12 nSo teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
36 fFor what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?
7 The grass withers, the flower fades
when the breath of the Lord blows on it;
surely the people are grass.
8 jThe grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever.
17 And zthe world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
2 For he says,
w“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, xnow is the yfavorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
31 and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For dthe present form of this world is passing away.
24 And zlet us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,
25 anot neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and ball the more as you see cthe Day drawing near.
