Psalm 127:3–5

Behold, bchildren are a heritage from the Lord,

cthe fruit of the womb a reward.

Like arrows in the hand of da warrior

are the children1 of one’s youth.

Blessed is the man

who fills his quiver with them!

He shall not be put to shame

when he speaks with his enemies ein the gate.2


Matthew 18:6

but zwhoever causes one of these alittle ones who believe in me to sin,1 it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.


Matthew 19:14

14 but Jesus said, gLet the little children hcome to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.
