5 iHow long, O Lord? Will you be angry jforever?
11 O Lord, oyour hand is lifted up,
but pthey do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed.
Let qthe fire for your adversaries consume them.
18 oNeither their silver nor their gold
shall be able to deliver them
on the day of the wrath of the Lord.
pIn the fire of his jealousy,
qall the earth shall be consumed;
rfor a full and sudden end
he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.
8 “Therefore twait for me,” declares the Lord,
“for the day when I rise up to seize the prey.
For my decision is uto gather nations,
to assemble kingdoms,
to pour out upon them my indignation,
all my burning anger;
for in the fire of my jealousy
vall the earth shall be consumed.
5 therefore thus says the Lord God: Surely I have spoken in smy hot jealousy against the rest of the nations and tagainst all Edom, who ugave my land to themselves as a possession vwith wholehearted joy and wutter contempt, that they might make its pasturelands a prey.
