Psalm 46:9

rHe makes wars cease to the end of the earth;

he sbreaks the bow and shatters the spear;

the burns the chariots with fire.


Isaiah 2:4

He shall judge between the nations,

and shall decide disputes for many peoples;

qand they shall beat their swords into plowshares,

and their spears into pruning hooks;

rnation shall not lift up sword against nation,

neither shall they learn war anymore.


Isaiah 9:5

tFor every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult

and every garment rolled in blood

will be burned as fuel for the fire.


Ezekiel 39:9–10

Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and pmake fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, qclubs1 and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years, 10 so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for pthey will make their fires of the weapons. rThey will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord God.
