Psalm 38:18; Job 33:27; Proverbs 28:13; Luke 15:18; Luke 15:21; 1 John 1:9

18  I mconfess my iniquity;

I am nsorry for my sin.

27  He sings before men and says:

I wsinned and perverted what was right,

and it was not repaid to me.

13  Whoever xconceals his transgressions will not prosper,

but he who yconfesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, sI have sinned against theaven and before you.

21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. uI am no longer worthy to be called your son.1

uIf we confess our sins, he is vfaithful and just to forgive us our sins and rto cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
