2  ^wO my God, in you I trust;

let me not be put to shame;

let not my enemies exult over me.

3  Indeed, ^xnone who ^ywait for you shall be ^zput to shame;

they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.

6  ^vLet not those who hope in you be put to shame through me,

O Lord God of hosts;

let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me,

O God of Israel.

116  Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live,
