Psalm 147:19-20; Isaiah 2:3; Romans 3:1-2; Romans 9:4-5

19  He declares his word to Jacob,

his pstatutes and rules1 to Israel.

20  He qhas not dealt thus with any other nation;

they do not know his rules.2

rPraise the Lord!


and omany peoples shall come, and say:

Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,

to the house of the God of Jacob,

that he may teach us his ways

and that we may walk in his paths.

For pout of Zion shall go forth the law,1

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.


God's Righteousness Upheld

Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Much in every way. To begin with, xthe Jews were entrusted with ythe oracles of God.


They are eIsraelites, and to them belong fthe adoption, gthe glory, hthe covenants, ithe giving of the law, jthe worship, and kthe promises. To them belong lthe patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, mwho is God over all, nblessed forever. Amen.
